Job Description:
Envision, Creative Support for People with Developmental
Disabilities: Our mission is to enhance the quality of life
for persons with developmental disabilities in Weld County. We are
looking for an individual to become a part of our team as a Supported
Employment Specialist.
SHIFT: full time, 36 hours per
week, Monday - Sunday shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
PAY RATE: $18.01 per hour plus paid time off, paid
holidays, paid sick time
SUMMARY:
This position requires an energetic and organized person with proven
knowledge, skills and abilities in providing employment skills
training and ongoing employment supports to ensure job satisfaction
and job retention for individuals with intellectual and developmental
disabilities (I/DD) who are seeking employment or who benefit from
assistance in maintaining their employment as a valued member of their
community. The primary role will be providing job skills training in
both a group and individualized service delivery model. The goal being
to help the people we support gain necessary skills from working
collaboratively within a group to then securing a job within the
community and receiving on-going one on one employment support.
